On the wife's 6r we went +1 on the front and left the rear stock. Made it a little less buzzy and made the speedo more actuate. I'm guessing you could change the rear if you wanted to. Knute

This was the same on the wife's 6r, lights but no fire. New battery and it fired right up. Not saying this is your issue but have the battery load tested to know for sure.

Double check the battery to be good. Wife's 6r behaved like that once, we put in a new battery, and it fired right up. Best wishes hope you can resolve the issue. John

About all I can offer is to try inspecting and cleaning connectors and wiring. Hope you can figure it out.

Somewhat the same happened to the wife's 6R. One day it decided it would just crank and crank but not fire, replaced with a new battery and it fired right up, been running great ever since. Not saying this is your issue, just something to consider.

We went the emulator route. It was an improvement, but I'm sure this is going to be way better! Love what you're doing, nice job!

Bout all I can offer is to inspect electrical connections, and perhaps clean. That is a weird one for sure. Hope you can figure it out.

My wife's 6r had the same symptoms. Battery seemed good, but decided to replace with a new one, problem solved.

I'd just start with +1 on the front for now and see how that feels to you. Stock chain will fit it fine. BTW, welcome to the forum!

I did a quick look at Partzilla. A 2009 FZ6R part number is different than that of a 2009 FZ6. As far as actual fitment goes, I don't know if that would mean anything or not.

I say, go for it! ... assuming the price is right...

Have the battery load tested.

This is what we put on FZ6r. Had to do a little filing to get a good fit, not a big deal, just something you may have to do if you go this route.
