I'm an HR Manager for a large warehousing company. I handle benefits, workers comp, investigations, safety, and a whole lot of others hats - whatever needs to be done.
Agreed!! The amount of hate between STi owners and Evo owners was ridiculous to the point of stupidity.
I will say this about Apple products tho. I agree that they are inferior (after using my iPod Nano for about a year, and iTunes which is pure an utter garbage), it is really nice to be...
Coming to my neck of the woods early Dec. I might have to check it out - if the weather is good, I may ride. I invited a couple of riding friends and concluded that if the event doesn't involve them drinking a lot of beer and talking about other wives boobs, they aren't interested. I'm not...
Ha! Must be an issue with BA's!! My dad had a couple of OLD BA floor speakers - I think the woofer is 10"? Might be 8". Anyhow, he had them in the house for 15 years, and the foam blew out on them. He said I could keep the speakers if I could repair them. That was probably 15 years ago...

But like has been said in other posts, Yamaha classifies it as a SuperSport, and why I put "sport" in quotations. Not the word I would use, but one that others do.
The point is that the new Harleys aren't likely to be aimed at this crowd. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't...
Wait, so the guys on a "sport" bike forum don't like the new Harleys? That's a big surprise.
Come on guys, get over yourselves. You are obviously not the target audiences. They will likely get more people into motorcycling at a younger age who will grow up and into a bigger bikes. More...
Do you wear gloves inside them? If so, what kind? I have full finger mesh type gloves for the summer, and heavier waterproof for winter. Would the winter gloves be too bulky to fit in there?
I'm talking about the deflectors you might see on an adventure bike. I'm wondering if they deflect the wind at all? I just got a pair of glove that at 43degrees F are still cold. I'm thinking a liner might help, but the deflectors might be even better. Thoughts?
Congrats!! In a few short months, your life is going to be forever turned upside down. If you haven't already, get What to Expect When You're Expecting, and the Expectant Father. Your wife will enjoy the first, the second takes you through every step you'll feel until birth.
After birth...
I had a 91 Miata that was my project. Sold it for many reasons, but hope to get back at it. My TRUE love is cars, and I've done some track days and auto-crosses, and need to get back on the track. Unfortunately, the house is my current project.
Good luck Tatty. Surgery can be iffy - I hope it goes well and you recover. DO THE PT EXCERCISES. Don't skimp - that is the only way you're going to heal.
Glad you got the bike back! That's great - almost never happens. Hopefully, douche-bag didn't mess it up too much.
Shipping shouldn't be a problem - but it could be expensive. I would STRONGLY encourage you to pay "extra" for a reputable shipper. I shipped a car from Richmond to Chicago...
We did justice of the peace as well - coming up on 14 years. Love her more and more every day.
We chose not to do the garter - we thought is was a "traditional" with little meaning or significance for the two of us. We also didn't do a bouquet, because it didn't work for us. We figured...
SERIOUSLY! The wind noise causes pain after about 20 minutes. Ringing. It's terrible.
LOVED Blue Thunder. Terrible movie but great! I remember the TV show too. I had to google it (just now) to find out what happened to it. Airwolf was better though.
Pictures exaggerate the effect of the "tumah" (it's not a toomah, at all...). It's not THAT big. But don't get me wrong - it looks wonky. But looks aren't what I'm after.
Yes, that is a tank bag. I don't use it so much now that I have a trunk bag (moto centric) and the top case.
Yes...
