I think thats a great idea. The more we do it it would be routine. This dinosaur posting can get old. Chat discussions are cool when they get going. I will chime in. Hopefully we can get this started regularly. It would also be cool if there was some sort of a pop up icon to let everyone know...
Thats the naked version. I think more here would prefer the half faired version with belly pan (would look great) or you could probably get the full fairing for about $500.
Congratulations on the new ride. Much more fun than a 250 thats for sure. You will find the powerband in the 7k to the 10k alot of fun after the break in period. Hope to see you on here. Welcome again to the family here and ride safe. :)
Pretty much everything form the 70's to current day. Depends on the riding mood too. I have rock, pop, easy listening, alternative, metal, country, r&b, rap, jazz, & classical. About 150 songs.
I say keep your "R" and wait to see what Yamaha comes out with next. The new R1 will be nice, FZ1 will be hot, and maybe the FZ8 will be coming to the US. JMO
Probably the best thing to do is to call the police department and report it. They can send out a memo to all officers reminding them of their official duties/ethics. Not wise to single out an individual, he could be a newbie rookie and the senior guys will put him in his place. JMO
Sorry to hear about about the loss of your friend. My condolences to you and the family. When I teach drivers ed I tell my students mostly green young drivers that danger is always lurking so you have to be on guard at every moment. You never know and driving and riding is a full time job you...
Obviously all on here wants whats best for you, but at least think about keeping the bike and staying with us. Maybe find a way to pay for school p/t job/loans etc. You will do well in school regardless. Don't let a few jerks ruin your enthusiam. There are some cool people in the world they just...
Maybe thats a sign you should keep the bike and stay with us cool people here. I thought about other bikes, but I just could not leave my family and friends on here. Thats is why I'm loyal here. :)
Welcome to the family. This site is great. Lots of great people. I'm glad to see we are getting some FZ6R owners from different parts of the world. I think there are a few from down under here already. Enjoy the ride. :)
Yeah your probably right, maybe we could have chat times that we all go there. If we started using it more then it would become popular. I mean other sites non motorcyclelists have chat rooms going 24/7, so I just saying (not complaining) that we could utilize it more:)
I have the Phoenix too. it has a removalable liner and is ventolated. I like it. It does the job winter/summer & then some. Although I have not tried others. I would buy it again if I was buying one.
