Yeah... hey, I didn't mean to hijack your thread, your post triggered my memory and I just posted it. I was on a road I hadn't ridden before going to fast, I kinda knew better, but just got caught off guard... I got lucky pure and simple.

Basically did the same thing while on a ride in SE Ohio, only I crashed. Came into a decreasing radius turn, realized I was way to fast. I when hard on the brakes, the bike stood up, shot across the road to the other side (very thankful there were no cars) lost traction once I left the tarmac...

Will do in the next day or so.

You're going to love the 6r. Couple of things, depending on how tall you are, consider lowering the bike AND get some frame sliders.

What he said! I gassed up at a station when the truck was filling the tanks and my VFR ran like crap the entire tank. Never again!

February '10 we bought my wife a '09 Raven with zero miles (well, ok 1 mile), paid $6,300 otd.

First off, Greeting to all :) I ride a '04 Honda VFR and my wife a Rebel, she's ready to make the move up, and she's very interested in the FZ6R, trying to cut a deal on a held over '09 right now. Anywho, I'm wondering how good the electrial system on the 6R is, say if she wanted heated grip...
