may or may not have my 6r after this weekend

Sometimes you can elect to purchase the bike from the insurance company as a wreck with your payout. In such instances however, the title is removed and vehicle is deemed unregistered/ un-roadworthy and you have to get the bike re-scrutineered by the Vehicle Governing Body. *This is from an...

Givi Easylock Racks Installation Question - Fender Nuts Non-Removable

Don't worry, we have ALL made noob mistakes (I for one continue too regularly when impatient or rushed:o) 1 thing to be wary of with running with panniers and an FE installed is that the indicators may be 'hidden' from view to others in adjacent lanes (other than directly behind you). To...

    Fender Eliminator

That R&G FE presents the plate a lot further to the rear than the Targa FE, which is a good outcome. I found with the Targa FE on my Xj6S occasionally the rear wheel touched the license plate causing it to fold inwards to the tail under. The first time I noticed the plate folded in...

What did you do to your bike today?

IMO Sounds more like they dont know what they are doing, that is a common behaviour from a service provider. When they get stumped on what they are charging you for, they dont provide any reason or reccomendation. Sent from my LT18i using Tapatalk 2

Givi Easylock Racks Installation Question - Fender Nuts Non-Removable

Can you take a photo or provide a diagram of what you are referring too? From memory doesn't the fender have the 'nuts' built into the structural out rigger?

instructions for how to derestrict yamaha XJ6N-L FZ6R

There is a thread on here somewhere, where someone made their own out of 3mm plate and a coping saw! (I know search, but I haven't the time to do that right now) All they did was trace the restricted one onto the plate, and measure how much reduction was required to produce full open throttle

instructions for how to derestrict yamaha XJ6N-L FZ6R

You can DIY, a couple guys have done with some success MrPyklet's actuator was pretty ingenious IMO http://www.600cc.org/forum/406395-post1.html Otherwise ResArt sell them here but IMO $200 is a bit steep for something you fab yourself for $10

xj6 fuel economy help me pls

I found myself the same thing. At first running my Marthy system, it was spraying fuel out the end of the exhaust! -Not quite, but just about I Re-Mapped my PCV, taking into account (most) Australian fuels dont have ethanol blends in them. (props to Marthy!) So if you have a PCV, EJK, fuel...

does anyone ask if your 6r is an R1?

I haven't had that level of misunderstanding directed towards me, however I do get the odd question from time to time, I have come to the conclusion that bikes interest people and sometimes they feel the desire to talk to the rider, in their attempt at grasping an ice breaking conversation...

    My Tasmanian Accident Tale

(continued from first post in thread) My helicopter ride to hospital whilst mostly uneventful was torturous; as you can expect in the situation I was off my face on pain meds, strapped down to transport bed with a makeshift pillow pad under my left hip, neck brace on –only able to look at...
