I’ve got the same mirrors and I’ve got the same problem. My arm takes up like half the mirror so I can’t see anything directly behind me. I’ve tended to stop using them most of the time at this point, I usually just do a head check. The only time I use them now are when I’m stopped, I’ll take a...
I’m not sure about the PCV map part of this question, but as far as I know trimming the chimney down helps use more of the filter than anything. I’ve read on here that the velocity stacks do work. If all you want is shorter ones then you could trim them. Otherwise go on revzilla.com (or any...
Hey guys,
I’m looking into doing both the airbox mod and and timing advance. I was wondering if there somewhere that sells the advanced gear or if the only option is to file it down yourself.
Thanks for the help
Unfortunately with the FZ6R you can’t just bolt a slip on and call it a day. The whole exhaust system is one piece. The cheapest thing you could do is open the cat and pull everything out and reweld it shut. Either that or cutting the cat off and putting a new pipe on which would then fit a slip on
Those of you that have a PCV installed... is it worth it? I’m trying to decide if adding a power commander would really change the bike at all and if it’d be worth the money.
just street riding at the moment and don’t plan on stunting anytime soon. I’m currently running -1 in the front and like it but would love more low end torque. Not so worried about top speed

1. Either of the PC’s will work but if you have the money I would suggest getting the PCV
2. I’m almost certain that Marthy’s maps all require the PCV
3. I personally don’t have the maps, but if you email Marthy he’ll send you them
if you don’t put in the block off plates then you’ll always...
Thanks for the reply, I brought it to a friend that works at a bike shop and he said that it’s normal. Bikes have a non synchronous transmission so the forks to engage the transmission don't rotate while the gears are always rotating. He said that using a synthetic oil is too slippery and makes...
Every once in a while, while I’m sitting at a stop, I can’t shift from neutral to first. The lever just bounces back and stays in neutral. Has anyone else has this problem? I also noticed that it always does the same thing when the bike is off. I only seem to have the issue when sitting in...
