Well here it is a year later. Did a motor swap. Put fresh liquids in it. (Haha forgot about the possibility of a dead battery =P) but I jumped it just to see if it would run. And VIOLA!!!!! She runs!!!!!! Now there's only 1 well 2 problems. 1: my battery either needs to be replaced or trickle...

Well welding might be an option again, seeing as how the crankcase is completely fine but the 2 bolt holders for the clutch assymbly are sheared off, maybe they can be welded back on, I dont need the cover plate for my front sprocket, i can live without it if i have to.

As for new parts welding and what not, I feel welding.is out of the question because the part that broke off that the bolt threads in basically blew apart.
Well I can say one thing about chains, stay away from master links. That's what gave on mine. I did a master link BC I was told it was as strong as a riveted one. Thats not true. Yea was easier in a sense to do a master link but if I could do it again I would do it the riveted way for sure...
I want to say I'm mechanically incline, I've never messed with internal parts, this would be the first time. Ive done a lot of work outside of the engine, I don't mind trying internal fixings. But if i have to do this with like timing and what not, that might be my biggest challange. It seems...
