Ok i have an idea, what do we think about scrapping my engine, and getting an r6 engine and putting it on my bike?

Well welding might be an option again, seeing as how the crankcase is completely fine but the 2 bolt holders for the clutch assymbly are sheared off, maybe they can be welded back on, I dont need the cover plate for my front sprocket, i can live without it if i have to. I like the ideas that...

YES PLEASE RIVET FOREVER ;) As for new parts welding and what not, I feel welding.is out of the question because the part that broke off that the bolt threads in basically blew apart.

Well I can say one thing about chains, stay away from master links. That's what gave on mine. I did a master link BC I was told it was as strong as a riveted one. Thats not true. Yea was easier in a sense to do a master link but if I could do it again I would do it the riveted way for sure...
