X-12 Review

So about a week ago I told everyone about my new lid. I read a lot of threads and post hear to get some ideas. After reading them and the lid i wanted went on sale I decided to go with shoei X-12 got it for 500$. And i took it on about a 200 mile ride with rookie on sunday.(was a great ride to)

So in return heres my review. First off LOVE IT!! The only thing i can say slightly bad about it is the price of a nice mirror shield 86$-90$. I thought it would have been lighter but was still lighter than my HJC. The aerodynamics when doing head checks was good didnt feel like it was going to take my head off at high speeds, like my HJC did.

Fit=A+
ventilation=A++(in any position)
Comfort=A+
Wind noise=A+

Thank you for the write up about it, I myself am not ready for a new lid yet but when I am ready for one I will go with Shoei. I wear a large size, how does the sizing run for Shoei (big-small).

Thanks for the review! I continue to be impressed with Shoei getting nothing but positive reviews. As such, when I have the funds for a new lid, it shall be a Shoei. I actually got to try on a Qwest yesterday and WOW. Much more comfy and light than my Exo1000.
