true on many accounts but you stated the problem already. They aren't smart....

A simple trip to the local whatever store to get some rope and they could have made a temp harness to carry the bag on the passengers back. Would have been uncomfortable but it would have worked and not ruined the bag and made everything stink like fuel...

Some people just have no sense...
