Tank plastic

Has anyone removed the tank plastic on a FZ6R and has pictures? I included a picture of the pieces I’m referring to.

My plastic is just faded and it doesn’t really grip for crap I ordered a stomp grip

They are just on there with double sided tape. I just took mine off to paint. Start at the smallest point and work a hard edge under it. I used a plastic pry bar and slowly start lifting it off.

Even new, they didn't grip at all. I ordered the knee grips from Rascal Grafik the day I bought the bike brand new and have loved them. They were a little bit of a pain to apply because of the design, but I like the look.

As for the fade. Mother's Back to Black made all my black plastic look new.
