For some of you like me that may not know bike suspension 100%. I found these videos very informative. From a track point of view.

is there a place where we can find a weight to spring setting rating?

Not really...to be honest I think it was an old post by jonkerr that I read. Reserving 7 only for 2up. At the time I was about 205 pounds with out gear. Yeah I lost a lot of weight this past year now at 181.5.

I would do suggest doing easy test rides on settings 4 and 5 for you.

u guys don't have any mountain roads in florida tho, right marthy?

i think for that type of terrain, softer suspension is ok. but, for the angled, twisties that we like to ride in So Cali, i can see how a tighter suspension will help.

i'll try bumping mine up to 4 or 5 for this Sunday's SCAR pre-SuperBowl GMR run. :)

I've bottomed out too. My License plate got trashed last week from bottoming out and my spring is at 6 and i only weigh 150
i hit a HUGE pot hole on the freeway and it was night time so i didn't see it till bam. :(

oh and the pic is after i bent it out a bit too. all u could see were the registration stickers at 1st

Yea just took the plate off and got a hammer and flattend it out haha
Its straight for the most part
My tire has sum cuts in it but looks ok
