Riding shoes

I bought some sidi boots that don't fit my calf. I'll just say my calf is muscular lol, definitely not a willowy thin-legged person. I would consider the fit of european made products before buying if you have a long or wide foot or calf or ankle. I ended up with the Speed and Strength Wicked Garden shoe (an older women's version of the above poster's link) They come up over my ankle bones and are reinforced on the toe. I was wearing reagular old EMT boots I got at wal-mart when I went down and they were beat up but I still had ankle pain although all of my toes and skin was intact down there. I think how you fall has a lot to do with it. But AGATT for sure. I wear the S&S shoes off bike walking all over the place and they're comfy enough while still making me feel safe.

I have the Dainese Merida, are the same but shorter. Very comfortable even for walking. And looks great.

Regards!
