This is what I've been doing the last two tanks. I've noticed a 30 mile increase.Light comes on at I think .7 gallon left. Your range all depends on your shifting and how high you keep the rpms. If you ride high rpms your range will drop quite a bit. Keep shifting up when at about 6k and you will see your range go way up. That's what i do for my commuting days.
