Instrument Guage Color

I'm trying to figure out if there was an adjustment to the instrument gauge color configuration between 2012 and 2013 (or between whatever year). I've scoured the web and have struggled to find the answer. I really dislike the orange color and hate the orange behind the speedometer. I'm considering having the color changed.

Seeing how virtually nothing has changed on this bike since its introduction, I think you're just stuck with the orange. If you're determined, it may be possible to disassemble the gauge cluster, locate the LEDs and source a suitable replacement of a different color though I'm not aware of anyone having tried this. While the orange doesn't look particularly cool, I find it to be a nice color as far as usability.

I hate orange color too. Disassemble cluster and change LED to white. Its not simple, but possible and look good!

What bulb/led does it take? How many?

if my memory serves me right, display lighted with six pieces 3528 SMD LED.

There's a guy in NYC who replace the color, he does whatever color you want.
He did a a job for some friends and to me.
