From the size of the photo it appears the foam wasn't damaged TOO terribly... the biggest thing will be the cover. You can get the cover for it OEM for about 33 dollars + tax & shipping.

For what it's worth, I do not know the exact model number of your 2012 bike, so I chose the BB. With the seat it shouldn't matter since majority of the 6r's are rocking black seats.
If you want to replace the foam, I would recommend looking up a local upholstery place like Dart said. May end up liking your seat more than before. Goodluck! :thumbup:

First picture on this post is the 2012 black 6R without the side fairing decals. (Save for the top near the signals)
Oh $$$$hit! I will go nuts!!! I clean up the garage over the weekend and throw my stock seat cover in the trash... I would have give them to you. Your best option is going custom. Most of those upholstery guy did bike seats before, they should be able to recommend you properly. I did mine myself and got it recover.
I made mine with a combo of high, medium density foam and finish it up with a gel pad on top. I also add about 2" on the front end of the seat to remove some slope so I don't crash my nuts on the fuel tank all the time...lol You might end up spending about the same $ but should be more comfy.

here ya go, i replaced the stock decals with this simple one.
and to all, yes i learned my lesson, he's my buddy and he is also a pup still (german Shepard) im gonna try for that seat on ebay i don't mind that little dent thing. if its bad ill just re-list it for sell. i need to ride again!

When my boxer was 1 he chewed up my couch and recliner 2 months after buying them.The recliner was at the opposite end of the house, he drug it through the dining room, kitchen, and left it in the laundry room.It was just a wooden frame when I got home.

Dude. That's pretty whack. I can't imagine what would cause an animal to attack a motorcycle seat that way. Did you piss somebody off, and they put peanut butter all over your seat?
It just seems to me that a dog, no matter how pissed and lonely it's feeling, is unlikely to target a particular piece of vinyl covered foam, sitting on top of your motorcycle, when there's much more likely things to chew up.
Kinda weird.

What did he do, take a shit on the seat? Ride naked and rub his ass all over it? (It's OK if he did, I just doubt that's what happened.) I still say it's pretty whack.

ya idk either ive left it out there before and nothing happened. i thought it was odd as well. regardless i wont be leaving them together again. he has plenty of chew toys outside. about 6 of them. idk he is quite destructive
oh well ceste la vie. i ordered that ebay seat, so hopefully ill be riding again soon!
