Just a simple install thread for the BackOFF brake light module.
The brake light wires (3) are encased in a plastic covering on the right side of the rear cowell under the passenger seat. Use a rasor blade to carefully make a 1" cut along the covering to expose the wires. Blue and black are the running light. Yellow is the brake light. Black is the common ground.
Just cut the yellow wire and wire in the BackOFF module. Red to yellow to the front of the motorcycle and the striped wire to the yellow to the brake light. I used heat shrink on the soldered connections and then a second piece of heat shrink to cover it all up. Put the double sided stick tape onto the module and tuck it under the right cover out of the way and stick to the frame tubing.
Done.
