I basically live in a subdivision of the hood. I was actually always more surprised every time I walked outside and saw my bike still there than I was to see it missing this morning. (but it was no less painful I promise) And flyboy, in this neighborhood we'd probably all be outgunned, but...

I also saw that some people reported getting ALL the hardware with the cowl, while others had to borrow from their seat. I bought mine from a Yamaha dealership and was required to use the latch and the 2 small rubber pads from the seat. The instructions even tell you that you need to swap them...

Well, I took some pics but I'm having trouble getting them off my camera:confused: I'm gonna try to reload my camera software (if I can find it) and if that doesn't work, my dads pc has a card reader that I can get them off with. I agree with Spunky, highway on-ramps are one of my favorite things. Balls-to-the-wall acceleration is on par with cornering as the best part of riding imho. I like getting on the highway and aiming for a hole in traffic. Its so quick and easy to tap 100-105mph and then back off to the speed...

That's because they're good bikes. But, if you find an ss that fits you, you can't really go wrong. Luckily, I don't see many sport bikes around here period 'cause hicks and rednecks like cruisers. So, I don't have to worry about everyone else having my bike.
