I am the originally owner of a 2009 FZ6R (purchased in March 2010)....only have 16,000 miles on the bike (have not ridden enough the past 18 months).
Original battery and zero issues...original chain and sprocket and zero issues....bike rides like a dream!

The weather was perfect and the Smokey Mountains were (and always are) some of the best riding around.
Thanks to Marty for riding at my pace (easy does it...)....although he did wheelie by me on the "Dragon"....that lasted only a few minutes as we came upon an 18 wheeler lost and stuck in roads...

I recommend going ahead and sending yours in and if you don't like it after the fact, buy a new OEM or the comfort seat. I would be surprised if you will be able to buy a stock seat from anyone for cheap...cheapest will likely be from Yahama.
