Ear plugs are an absolute must. Especially with a modded exhaust. I used to work in a dept that included audiology. Anything over 90 decibels will damage your hearing, especially anything sustained. I've been on a 10 year quest for the perfet riding ear plugs. Skull Screws are it for me.

I don't have a CCW because I live in Commiefornia. But from a friend who's a LEO and rides, he uses a shoulder rig. Only issue there is getting to it with a zipped up jacket if you need it.
