Is there a particular brand you guys recommend for the +1 front sprocket? I've been searching around for one with the rubber bushing backing, but it seems like a solid one is the only option for a direct fit.

Just for reference I guess, the one piece XJ6 seat does fit on the FZ6R. However, the latch for the seat needs to be moved to the position on the frame that's further back. That also requires the longer release cable for the seat latch off of the XJ6 (Yamaha P/N 20S-2478E-00-00).

I hate to bump an old thread, but I had a couple questions regarding the timing adjustment and machining on the cam gears. Hopefully Marthy happens to see this. What's the particular reasoning for the slotting of the cam gear to advance the timing? Does the slotting make up the difference...
