Okay so I’m looking at options of steering dampeners for the 6r, I have a protaper that’s pretty high and wide. I found the rotary type that bolt to the front of the tank and underneath the bar risers..but does anyone know where to find the one like in this video posted below? Really dig that...
You also have to think that you talk about those mods only giving you about 20hp over stock..that’s a good bit considering it’s only like 70hp from the factory. Then you got the timing mods, cam swaps, etc.
I’m running -1/+2, PCFC with RevA Marthys Map, R6 header with M4 Street Slayer, and an R6 Throttle Tube as my performance mods. Just some advice, she rips around town great and I frequently cruise at 85 for about an hour..i get around 100 miles to a tank..and that’s without a Speedo healer so...
Thanks man! I’ve had one sketchy slapping incident with my current bar setup but I blame it mostly on the road conditions, really. Definitely looking into getting this.
-1/+2..power commander, sport map, M4 street slayer on R6 header, and do a regular 80 mile round trip at 80mph and it’s thirsty afterwards. Conservatively I can get 100. I am a bigger guy though, 275 at 6’.
Just speaking from my experience and knowledge alone, I’m running a -1 front sprocket and stock rear and I’m running 118 link 525 O-ring. I thought about going up in the rear when I went down in the front I can honestly say I’m glad I didn’t. At 80 on the highway I’m around 8k. It doesn’t mind...
Quick shot of the new bar setup..Trackside 7075 with crossbar, knock-off GPS mount, ProGrips, Speedmetal bar ends, MZS levers, dirty tank. :highfive: haha
I’m not 100% sure and I’d hate to steer you the wrong way. I believe the PCFC maps will work on the PCV but I’d wait for someone to chime in and give their opinion, as well.
