    Bike Cover Recommendations

Interesting.. I will definitely look into that. Do you happen to have a picture of it on your bike? Just for reference. Naturally in my search I only found it on grills...

    Bike Cover Recommendations

Hey all, Any recommendations on a good outdoor motorcycle cover, preferably with straps? Right now the bike's in storage but this spring it will be sitting outside all year long. I got a bike cover from Amazon last year and both straps ripped by the fall. Looking to have something that at least...

How much did you pay for your FZ6R?

'09 FZ6R. I paid $3700, with just over 2000 miles on it at the time of purchase in September 2017.

    FZ6R "Swiss Cheese" Airbox Mod?

Thanks for the replies! The exhaust is just a slip-on. As mentioned though, I rather take it back to stock as much as possible, not modify it further. :) I just want to keep the slip on because it sounds good, and I rather the bike be too loud than too quiet. You know, for "safety" reasons. ;)

    FZ6R "Swiss Cheese" Airbox Mod?

Do I need a PC? I want it back as close to stock as possible, except the exhaust. Sounds quite nice. It's apart for the most part. The tank is off. Just over 2000 miles on her, but I'm sure they're the original plugs from '09 so it wont hurt to change. We also inspected it the other day, and...

    FZ6R "Swiss Cheese" Airbox Mod?

Haha, fair enough. So.... ok to keep as is? Or should I spend $25 on a replacement?

    FZ6R "Swiss Cheese" Airbox Mod?

Hey everyone, Still in the process of bringing my bike back to stockish (except the exhaust that it came with). One thing I noticed, the guy before me also turned my airbox into swiss cheese (not my pic but same thing): Will this affect anything? Should I leave as is or just replace...

Hey Bo, thanks again for helping me with advice on the fizzer and shipping me that handlebar! It shows up today, so I'll finally be able to ride soon. :)

Raising Bike back to Stock / OEM

Great, thank you for the information! The biggest issue with the bike being as low as it is, is the brake line hits the body when turning. Will look into everything mentioned and go from there. Will update.

    New... '09 FZ6R

Guy before him lowered it. Guy I bought from rode it a week, then realized it was too low for him, and it sat all summer in his garage until he decided to sell. Wasn't him that lowered it.

Raising Bike back to Stock / OEM

Hi All, Picked up a 09 FZ6R last August. It's lowered (among other things). I don't like that. Going back to OEM height, so I just want to confirm that I'm getting everything I need to do this properly. Parts and procedure. I do not have an owners manual. Rear should be all set...

    WTB: OEM Handlebar

Whatever fits an 09 FZ6R. OEM preferred. My bike came lowered and with clip-ons, so I'm going back to stock. Thanks!

    09 OEM Owners Manual

If this is still available, I'll take it. Thanks!

    New... '09 FZ6R

Yep, my thoughts exactly... budget r6 lol. Rear link is gone. Not exactly sure how to raise the front up though. I think I just need OEM risers? New to doing pretty much anything on a bike. This is my second one. I will likely get an OE handlebar as well. I like the look of the clipons, but I...

    WTB: 2009 FZ6R OEM Risers

Looking for a set of OEM risers for an '09 FZ6R. Not sure which years are compatible. Searching online tells me '09-'16 are all the same, but Bike Bandit parts numbers appear to be different? Thanks

    New... '09 FZ6R

Hey all, Last August, I picked up a '09 FZ6R with just over 2000 miles on her! The previous owner bought it in the spring, but being 6' 5", wanted something bigger and got a Harley. So he put 13 miles on it in 5 months. Up for sale it went on Craigslist, and within two days and a test drive...
