Wouldn't make sense to try and pass off a fake since the demand would be just as high for a reproduction. People would pay the OEM GYTR price just to finally get their hands on one. I'd say you just picked up the rarest Fizzer part on the planet.
Congrats!!
I originally wanted to go 50 in the rear, but couldn't locate a 50 tooth sprocket at the time.
I went 15/49 with a 120 link chain and have been running that on the track for quite some time.
Top speed is 117.
No I've never installed a gear shift indicator. In fact, I'm not entirely sure what system one of those piggy-backs off of in order to work.. ?
If it piggy-backs off the ECU, then I'm not sure how a fuel controller would mesh into the installation of one..
I've run the R6 header for several years now. Started out with a Yoshi R-77 slip-on and now I run the Radiant Cycles Shorty GP (basically straight pipe). The most important thing is that you get a proper measurement of the end of your header. If I recall, my particular R6 header has a 1 and...
The important thing is that you discovered the issue, fixed the problem, and shared the solution.
It's all about learning from each other. Glad you're back up and running!
First I've seen of this "Fabbri" screen. I must say it looks pretty fantastic.. very similar in design to the original GYTR option that has gone the way of the rear cowl cover.
To further enhance joshy.exe's question...
Suppose you've installed R6 rearsets on your Fizzer.
Would you want an R6 quick shifter setup, or a Fizzer quick shifter setup?
Asking for a friend ;)
They are higher and further back. Tightened up the "rider's triangle" quite a bit and provides for much more lean angle.
Peg height mimics the R6, but actual seating height per the Fizzer's design puts it more similar to the GSXR 600 in feel.
I'm liking it so far, but the real test will be on...
