    09 OEM Owners Manual

No problem, I still have it. Just PM me a mailing address and I'll send it off. And to my knowledge (other than colour schemes) these bikes are identical year to year and Yamaha hasn't changed a thing on them, so the manual should cover all years.

    09 OEM Owners Manual

Found this while cleaning my garage. I sold my 6R some time ago so don't need this. Free to anyone who wants it, just pay for cheapest shipping you can find. I'm in Ontario Canada (standard ground shipping is likely cheapest).

    Plate flippers

The fine for having one is as bad or worse than the fine you would get for needing to engage it to mask the presumably illegal activity you are doing to require the plate flipper in the first place. So its very much a paradox.

    Delkevic Exhaust

Looks/sounds great! I finally pulled the trigger and picked up one of these systems up for ~ $590CDN shipped to my door. Reviews seemed to be good and its a nice looking system as far as exhausts go. I just couldnt bring myself to drop 1200 on a TBR and I wanted a FULL system, not a slip-on...

    160 vs. 170 Rear tire.

If you are after that SS look on a non SS bike and are willing to sacrifice performance for looks, anything is possible I suppose. On the tire topic; I have just over 500kms on my new Pilot Road 3's (in stock size)....oh yeah, these we're soooo worth the money :D

What did you do to your bike today?

Just put on a brand new set of Pilot Road 3's. The reviews for these tires are off the charts so I thought I would give them a shot..hope they were worth the money, they were pricey. I only have <10km on them at the moment, from the bike shop back to my house so time will tell :)

    Quiet helmet?

I've had this helmet for ~2 years now and its pretty quiet. I bought it as an extra for a passenger and I've worn it several times and quite like it. Its in the 200$ range. https://fortnine.ca/en/icon-alliance-dark-helmet?gclid=CP_285HC0dACFUhYDQodRVIGqQ#76=64&493=264

    Woodcraft clip-ons various heights

You could do a quick measure of your current setup and then subtract the riser difference. Woodcraft makes 2, 2.5 and 3" rise, or you could go with Apex who make an adjustable rise up to 3".

    Clip ons

With over 3000kms now since putting my Woodcrafts and lowering the front, I have had zero issues and for me, its been perfect..and yes, I did have to move the horn a bit, no biggie at all. I also replaced my grips with a gel grip which added some comfort. I should note: I also have RaceTech...

First 2hr trip on the bike there & back

Congrats! Funny .. I drive ~2 hours a DAY to and from work lol. Be glad the 6R is a heavy old boat...It helps in the windy conditions I find, its the least "drifty" bike I've ridden in the wind given its weight...which for commuting and trips is why I like it :) Enjoy.

What the deal with clip-on handle bars?

I ride my CBR on weekends and I bought the 6R purley for commuting and I SWORE up and down I wouldn't do a thing to it ... Alas, I've done like 6 things to it <face palm>

What the deal with clip-on handle bars?

That's the very definition of subjective; personal feelings, tastes, or opinions. If we weren't subjective by nature we'd all be riding blue FZ6R's with clipons ;)
