So I was sitting at a red light...

Totally agree! This last Saturday, we had a burst of warm weather up north. So I hit the roads. Had a close call on the highway with 2 trucks but thankful all went well. So then I headed to the coffee shop to warm up as it was getting on in the day. The first left turn at the lights gave me a...

What is the FZ6R Triple Tree Pin Size?

Expensive mistake. The female couplings adapted for our bikes works well on the left side compared to the right side. The irregular shaped bolt on the right side isn't as secure as I would like. Disappointing, but I'll figure something out.

What did you do to your bike today?

Left side female coupling fits poorly around the bolt due to its irregular shape. If it was a hexagon with the flared up sides it would fit nice and snug 100% around. Instead I have it 60% snug.

What did you do to your bike today?

FYI the female adapters fit okay. The bolt on the right side is not a standard hexagon shape so the fit isn't as secure as I would like. The left side works perfectly. I'll try to add a pic. Expensive miscalculation, will use for now and check if Yamaha can change that bolt out.

What is the FZ6R Triple Tree Pin Size?

Has anyone tried the side stand? I have limited space for storing during the winter months, looks like a good alternative to the front and rear stand. Dolly Side Stand

Put a face to your name....

Hey FZ6R comrades, This page is similar to meeting for a coffee. Otherwise we identify each other by bikes, logos and the roads taken, rarely by face. Nice to meet you all!;)

FZ6R Riders Show us your baby!!

Is there a hint of blue on the bike? Did you apply a blue tank pad? It looks like a bit of blue on the bike, it could just be a reflection from some lights. Great pic. I am still debating about adding one 9tank pad) myself. I figure stick with white but black is also a nice contrast. Take...

What did you do to your bike today?

Rear fairing reflective white tape. Last weekend measured, trimmed and applied white rear fairing reflective white tape. Odd shape but covered entire surface, ordered 5" x ~18" piece. The guys haven't noticed until we are on the road. I also applied 1/2" red reflective onto the red chassis...
