From what everybody that rides has told me I should go through 2 rears to every 1 front tire. But for me it goes the other way around. So for I have wasted the stock front Bridgestone in less then 4000 miles. The rear one was finished in 8000 miles. As from my review I replaced the stock rubber...
At my 4k mile oil change I switched to Yamalube 15-50 full synthetic and it has been great....but now coming up to my 8k mile service the oil still looks good, and still a somewhat clear gold color and has tacky ness between your fingers. By the way the oil looks I almost feel like I can keep...
This is more a rant then anything, the county I live in has decided to tar and chip all of the side roads...well there on there way to finish all off them. It's not I can't ride on gravel I just choose not too. Also I am sure the gravel is just going to kill sport touring tires in no...
In another post I stated I accendtly did a burnout by that I mean when I thought I was in second gear and went take off and it turned to be in first along with a rear tire past its wear bars it turned to be an eventful evening.
And for the gear I was glad to be in full gear from head to toe...
I had a small spill last night....nothing too major but I accidentally did a burnout at less then 10 mph and went down hard on the left side of the bike, everything seem fine expect a broken mirror and bent shift lever. Got home look over the bike again straighten out the lever and went to start...
I finally got my Zero Gravity touring windscreen in and is now on the bike. Also I got finished up wiring in a dual usb port for my GPS and cell phone. This is the one I installed Blue Sea System - 1016, Electrical, Shore Power, Blue Sea Dual USB Charger Socket Two USB Ports With Cap #1016 -...
Well I just had my front tire replaced with the Angel Gt. Right now I am breaking it in and across it feels like the bike turns in faster now. Seems weird though like the front end feels more heavy.
But I am excited though to see how the bike handles when I start pushing the bike faster.
Well it has been a few hundred miles since my full synthetic Yamalube oil change and I adjusted the shift lever a little bit more and the bike shifts a lot better now...still not as good as one would think for it being a new bike and all. The only thing that stinks now is my toe is just about...
Well I am about to toss in the towl and trade my 6r in. I do love the bike but I am getting tired of a false neutral inbetween 2nd and 3rd and on occaison it will jump from 2nd to neutral on accelaration.
But back on to the insurance though... for full coverage with a $1k deductable I am...
Well there isn't much out there for our bikes but I think I have read just about everything out there on what to do.
I am just not sure on which end to start with yet. I spoke with a guy that raced a FZ1 and he stated he did the rear shock first and it made a huge difference. But I feel on...
Well I just got my seat back from being re foamed and just holding it and pressing the foam it feels more solid and sitting on it for a few minutes it feels more supportive.
Also I ordered a touring screen from Zero Gravity and sadly Parts Unlimited does not have it stock so it will be a...
Don't really have an discussion on this race but after watching this video I feel like I don't have a single clue on how to operate a motorcycle.

I know this is might be a silly question for a few but since I commute on my bike I would like to have more light on the back of my bike.
If I can find some red indicators are at least red lenses for the stock ones I can install this Universal Run-Turn-Brake Controller | Lighting | Küryakyn...
There is nothing wrong with my bike and it is running good. But before my road trip I had only enough time to put about 300 miles on the bike.
I did change the oil to a synthetic oil before my trip but to do the speed limit on the highway I was running 70 to 80 mph for 400 miles and we know...
I am looking into installing a 17 tooth sprocket on the front and I think I found one company called Surfside Moto that lists sprocket's for our bikes.
Just wanted to ask on where everybody is buying sprocket's.
Well I just got back from Baltimore and totaled almost 1k miles this past weekend.
The bike itself performed flawlessly...cruising at 80mph and almost no vibration. The stock needs some attention though, I couldn't barely go past 100 miles without being in to much pain...after 50 miles it...
Well I just bought a leftover 2012 FZ6R. This is my second bike, my first one was 2009 Honda Shadow Aero. Wasn't a bad bike but not just for me.
The Yamaha on the other hand I love...to be honest I was going back and forth between this and a Ninja 650 and I am glad I went with the FZ. The...
