This is a sobering story - I hope you fully recover physically and mentally so you can ride again soon. I would have hoped that 18-wheelers (being professional drivers) would be less of a risk but maybe it's a visibility thing, fatigue issue, or something else. Anyway, no excuse for running...
Where does my girl sleep? She's dressed in an official Yamaha FZ6R cover, rolled into her own dedicated 5'X8' shed and locked. The shed is inside my garage. The garage is inside my house. I may be a little over-protective...
Happy happy for you!
There's a lot of cr@p news out there in the world.....so I'm glad to read about someone having something go well for them....ride on man!

Ngengs-- sorry dude but I'm gonna harp a little stronger...no offense intended but ....you have a responsibility to yourself, to all of us riders, (and cagers for that matter), to report this driver ASAP. Who knows - maybe he's caused wrecks before and will again....

Welcome Mike! You made three great choices - getting back on a bike, picking a FZ6R to ride, and joining this forum...so you must be a pretty smart guy.
I've been riding mine for about 16 months and I can definitely tell you the bike gets better as you get better. I've never had a bad...
