    Can I delete a thread?

Searched the site but couldn't find anything on how to delete threads that I started that are no longer relevant. (I.e. I was asking if anyone had a set of risers they would part with, but I no longer need them so the thread is irrelavent and I'd like to delete it)

    Just bought a FZ6R...

Congratulations jearnshaw and welcome to the Forum. I have ridden my 6R as a light tourer for three years and love it. Good Deal?

I think that's a pretty darn good deal at $4,200. Up here in Canada I think an 09 in excellent condition and only 1,000 miles would be about $5,000. Good luck with whatever you get :)

    need some opinions!!!!

The white looks racier/sportier to me and matches the jacket great . . and white helmets are definitely more visible imho. I personally 'notice' white helmets all the time and wear one myself for exactly that reason.

why bikes are invisible on the road

Check this out. First time I've seen this explanation of 'why' people sometimes just don't seem to see us when they're looking straight at us and turn right in front of us anyways! Something all bikers need to know! MSF

    Cushy Seat....again!

I don't think sportbikes with seats designed for sporty aggressive riding are meant to be ridden (comfortably) for more than 3 hours . . are they?

    To the not-so-young riders

+1 to everything said here . . and I'm 65. Just do the mods that Marthy mentioned earlier and you'll have a bike you'll be happy with for a wide range of riding applications. Only if you're 33" inseam or longer should you start to feel cramped (probably, don't really know as I'm only 30").

    Bobski's $200 comfort seat mod

Yes it did end up looking somewhat similar to stuna's seat, but that was just a function of building it to the specifications and that's how it ended up, interesting. All in cost for materials, labour including the fitted stiched cover, and taxes was $200. I got to check the 'fit' on the bike at...
