Any idea how much oil is lost? I just did my VFR and it only lost a table spoon or so. Just change the oil in the 6r, wondering if it may be best to wait till the next change to do the cover.

One thing that does help a little when re installing the cover is to get 3 or 4, 4 inch or so long bolts of the same thread size of the cover, cut the heads off, insert those long bolts into the block and use them as guides. Helps keep the magnets from grabbing the cover when your trying to get...

My wife and I loaded the bikes on the trailer (her's the FZ6R and me a VFR) and did a 3 week vacation down in the North Carolina area in June. Thought I'd provide a little clip of what the roads are like in the area. Stayed in Franklin, NC for 5 days and road loops around there, then loaded up...

Kind of a bummer up here this year what with J Cooke washed out and Highway 1 between Ely and N. Shore under construction for some 6 miles, most of the good twisty stuff is out of action this year.

Anyone know if there any surprises to be on the watch for in taking the stator cover off a '09 FZ6R? Looks like a pretty straight forward job, but just thought I'd check first. It's just a straight cover replacement. Thanks.

That race was in Japan and watching those two go at it made (for me anyway) the best MotoGP race of the year. Absolutly loved it when Rossi beat him. I'm with you can't stand Lorenzo's bs after a win. Was nice to see Spies get a win.

Thanks to Sony's weak ass security I haven't been able to play COD for the last week or so. Oh... I did cancel the credit card associated with PS3 on line. On a more positive note, I did get 10's of miles on the bike today. Come on Duluth, you can do better than the 50's...
