Have the battery load tested. Wife's 6r would crank but would not fire, everything appeared fine otherwise. We replaced the battery and it fired right up, no problems since.
I wonder it the fuel system my be gummed up a bit after sitting that long. Perhaps run an injector cleaner through a tank of gas or two. Hard to say just what the problem really is. Hope you can solve it, let us know if you get it sorted.
Can you cut the old one and run the new one a slightly different path? I've done this on my VFR, never had to deal with a stator on the 6R, so I don't know what it looks like.
Howdy, never changed one on the 6r, however I've changed several on my VFR and my experience is to use oem if at all possible. The one time I used an after-market stator it only lasted approx 5k miles. Partzilla?
I live in Duluth Mn. To be honest, the 2brothers system and Juice Box just showed up at home, I had no idea she even purchased it. IIRC the Juice box only had 2 or maybe 3 setting on it, we just set it to the 2B's recommended setting and it worked just fine. She seems to get about the same...
