This is why PitBull stands don't work for our bikes. You specifically need a "paddle" type rear stand that holds the bike by its swingarm. If you really want to keep your PitBull stand, you can shell out another $70 and install the T-Rex Spool Adapters...

Hey that Viking setup looks pretty legit. In fact, it's VERY similar to the Nelson Rigg setup, especially by features and design. Might be worth a shot!

The CL-890 bags connect via two wide velcro flaps. So, the tighter you pull and clasp them, the "straighter" and more evenly the bags mount. The more slack you allow, the more the bags will droop. What I really liked about these, is that when pulled nice and tight for a nice even mounting...

If you don't mind structured soft bags, take a look at the Nelson Rigg CL-890 Sport saddlebags. I made a 1,300 mile roundtrip with a set of those along with a 30L Givi dry duffel bungeed to the tail and it performed nicely...

*Replying to Ware122* My understanding from the previous owner is that it was all on an actual "03ish to 05ish" generation R6. It has a mounting tab on the top of it that I don't even use, and I've never verified whether or not it would line up with a mounting point on the R6.

I have a 1.5'' riser setup with a Woodcraft clip-on kit, and I can tell you that the cables are pretty much at their limit without being rerouted. With that being said, I don't see a problem presenting itself if you're only rising by 1''. Hope this helps!

Mine will actually be delivered today (early). Gonna order a new set of timing cover gaskets before I do the swap, though... nothing worse than a gasket coming apart upon disassembly and not having a new one ready just in case. On a separate note, how do you think fueling relates to this timing...
