So...about these pegs...for the passenger...
i was looking at you original pics (stock placement) and the new pics, (your handy work) ---which looks good, by the way...
I didnt see (not claiming there isnt) much of a different between the two.
It almost looks like the pegs were moved...
...in a name
Mine came out from my college days. I dont like lying, though I have done it, and probably will do so in the future. Usually, cause I dont like to hurt people's feelings even more...(longer story)
Ver- latin for true, truth, real..

Sorry to hear about your body size to bike size issues. It was mentioned that you may want to look into the FJR. Since I own both, I can tell you that I thoroughly enjoy the FJR over the FZ6R on the following:
comfort, protection (wind)
Sheer fun factor and manuvering...the 6R wins...
My brother laid my FZ6R down the first week I got it. Luckily, it was in the driveway, and he eased it down...so it didnt fall from being on the side stand.

Could the fans kicking on make the bike idle higher? I think I've noticed an increase when this happened on mine.
The cables and snagging is also a good point.
Let us know what you find if you take to the dealer. =)
Wow...can we get back to the topic on hand please?
As for me, 87 = no pings so far...
Should pinging occur, I suppose I will try a different station, and then fork over a few more cents for the next grade. Why spend any more than you have to?
(geez...i am starting to sound like all...
never had the light turn green and the bike not be in nuetral.
I still, however, always have hand on break and let the clutch out slowly.
I recommend you do the same, cause you dont want to be the first one to post....
"Nuetral light sometimes lies...."
+1 I had the same experience through a secondary road. All the cars eventually cut trenches that the car just followed...almost like a theme park ride. lol
