LOL...It was coming out of the corners today... with some faster bikes. I'm still getting acclimated to the rpm limit.

1000 rpm more. Kept hitting the rev limiter today :)

Z1000S & Ninja 1000 They almost look like slightly different bikes. Maybe not? Maybe Z1000S is for Europe?

11k is a little pricey, but... if you wait (patiently) 1-2 yrs....people will be dumping them like the FZ1 for 6k (give or take) or so IMHO.

I'd like it also... if it has good low to midrange torque like the FZ6r. It's got a good seat height. 5 gallon fuel tank and a 190 rear.

Maintenance is very easy. $1000 is alot of money... plus...What if you keep the bike only 1-2 yrs?

Durability Is it fine to run the engine at 6k rpm for 3-4 hours at a time?? Motorcycle engines of today are extremely durable (under the most extreme beatings) and will generally outlast the ownership of the bike. I have NEVER had an engine problem with Yamis or Suzis.

In Texas you only.... pay tax on the difference between your actual trade in value and the price of the bike you are buying. 6.25 % if I remember right. If I thought I might be able to sell a bike for $400 more or so on the outside...I don't gain anything as now I have to pay state tax on the...

Maybe I'm missing... something here....but... 11,200 Australian dollars = $11,000 USD. The bike (2011 fz6r) only MSRP's for $7500 USD (here in the US). Brand new 09's and 2010s are being bought for $5000-$6500 USD off the showroom floors.
