It's not that you didn't warn me....human nature is curious so even though someone posts a warning, most people will go ahead anyway. I'm feeling better today and will probably go riding though...can't keep it in the garage forever!
I regret looking at that site and I only looked at the pictures....no vids. I'm a strong believer in safety, full gear, and responsible riding all the time and I understand the risks of riding, but seeing those images didn't seem to help me with anything at all. They made me sick to my stomach...
I don't want to start a battle either, but you keep bringing up the same thing. Read my previous post. Taking off the feelers will not make up for how the pegs are placed. Our bikes are not designed to be railed the way supersports are plain and simple no matter how much you want them to be...
It's quite simple. Supersport bikes have more clearance than we do, allowing them to lean further. Another example is that our bikes have more clearance than a cruiser, allowing us to lean further than they can. Try out a few different types of bikes and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I like the bike a lot, but my original reason for getting it was to learn on it to get me ready for something more powerful and not as user-friendly. The FZ6R is a great bike and I'd keep it if I didn't already have my heart set out on something else.
Even with correct form you will scrape if you're trying to do what a supersport could do. I was following a couple GSXR 600's on the twisties and had one behind me to coach me. At the speed we were going on the curves, I would scrape due to low clearance of our pegs when the other guys still had...
