I would say 1 1/2 to 1 3/4. I pretty much dropped front and back at the same time but over all I was considerably lower. I have 27" inseam and was flat footed.
It isn't hard to do yourself if you basic tools and a jack. A wheel chock helps steady it.
I know that I followed the pics and instructions on this forum and had no issues.\

The bike handled just fine - maybe a little more aggressive going into a turn, but nothing you don't get used to. I also had the front lowered 1". The kickstand is $109 new.
I'm not an overly aggressive rider so it wasn't any issue.
Well guys and gals, I decided it was time to grow up a little, so I have traded my FZ in at my local dealer for a Venture...
Snowmobile! :D
My wife asked me "So, does this mean you are over your midlife crisis?" LOL (nope;))
Plan on hanging around here still - lots of good oil...
Tony - I have the Roaring Toyz 1.75" lowering link and their kickstand as well. I am interested in selling it, just have to find my stock kickstand first!
I have both front and rear lowered on mine and it handls just fine. However, I am trading it in and will be taking thr lowering kit off prior if you decide to get an FZ6R.
Actually, make me an offer on my 09 with 9700 miles, White/pink! Complete with soft bags and Marthy windshield. Too bad...
