feedback So far, so very good. The levels of grip are confidence inspiring, even in the wet and the wear looks pretty standard too. I would recommend them.

My Roadsmarts finally needed replacing after 7,800 miles and decided to give the new Michellins a go (no issues with the Smarts just that the Pilots are the flavour of the month over here in the UK). Only done under 100 miles so far so haven't really ridden in anger but my initial thoughts...

I've noticed the same noise. The only thing that seems to cure it is literally painting on lube (I used Scottoil and a paintbrush) but that only works temporarily then the sound returns. Given that it disappears when lubed to the extreme I've concluded that it must be a normal chain noise...

Hi All, my chain seems exceptionally noisy - this is my first big bike so not sure what the standard level of noise should be from the chain - has anyone else noticed this? Bit worried by pilninggas' experience above and as far as I can tell I don't seem to have the o-ring problem as him but...

Paid £4,200 for a XJ6N last November, there was a dealer in Brands Hatch flogging them for £3999 at the time!
