Sport Touring suggestions for 2-up riding

I need to look at making my bike work, like you said, upgrading suspension, windshield, and etc. Besides, It took me several months to locate my bike last year, since I wanted the best color.... Yellow! I'll just put money into it and make it work for my needs.

Sport Touring suggestions for 2-up riding

I went browsing around a little bit today in search of a bigger bike just to get discouraged when they told me what my trade in value is on my 6R is only 2100 bucks. I figured it was a fluke, so went to a neighboring town and they only was gonna give me 2200. I enjoy my bike way too much to...

Sport Touring suggestions for 2-up riding

Ok, here's the situation. My wife hasn't rode her ninja 250 all year yet and I've been looking around to possibly sell both my 6r and her bike and just get something a little bigger that will be somewhat comfortable for her to ride 2-up with me for short weekend getaways. I've seen FJR1300's...

At 6"8, Am I the tallest fz6r owner and forum member?

Finally, someone taller than me. I'm 6'5" and have the seat at the taller position. My inseam is 36.5 inches. I enjoy the FZ6R, and at times think of getting something a bit bigger but love the ride too much to trade as of yet. There's not too many people I look up to, so Congratz! I suppose.

    Been Away, But Have Returned

I always buy Shell Premium,(93 octane), gas. Wouldn't think it would make too much of a difference but wanted to point out what I use. I'm old, and not as flexible as I once was, so I normally don't tuck down much. Windscreen is mostly pointless for me, since I'm a giant. I have original...

    Been Away, But Have Returned

Hey Gang, Sorry I've been away for several months now, but wanted to drop a line and say I'm back, healthy, and enjoying the almost daily rides on the ol yeller FZ6R. I have a work related injury that tore my labrum in my left shoulder and needed surgery to repair. Worst part about the...

Hey CC, it has been a while. Shoulder is all repaired, and I'm back to work and better yet, back on the bike. How have you been?

Morning commute a little different today

KY does not require a helmet for riders over 21, but I wear one anyways to protect my noggin. I did hear him since I the rpm's were low while I was dodging the debris.

Morning commute a little different today

Since I'm new to riding on the road, I take the back roads on the days I travel to work. This keeps me clear of all the busy intersections, freeways, etc. I always leave home for work extremely early. I normally arrive 45 minutes early, but like the "NO RUSH" feeling. Along my travels this...

    I hate microsoft right now

What bothers me is how Microsoft is selling upgrades every couple years for all their software, operating systems, etc. It is almost like they know there are bugs in the programs and are letting them be sold to hook you into buying the better version. It is crazy all the money you throw at...

New Rider...how do you approach a red light

I do this the same way as well. Congrats on the new bike! Just a side note, our front brakes are not like a bicycle's since we have front forks that will compress when applied to shift the weight of the bike during a stop. Most of the stopping power we have comes from the front brake in a...

The fiancee and I had a talk

Congrats on getting her interested on joining you on a bike. I can attest that it is easier to have your better half involved in this hobby. It just makes things a lot easier without hearing about how dangerous they are every time you start it up. Anyways, the FZ6R although considered a...
