Two Brothers Silver Series 4-2-1 complete exhaust system with a M2 Carbon Fiber Canister (part number: 005-2570105V-S).

eBay 4.5" led switchback strip lights. Each has 9 white LEDs and 8 amber. One in each front scoop and one on each side of the rear tire.

I ended up purchasing Yamaha YMEFLB2F0000 LED BLINKER FRONT PLUS. These are produced by Yamaha in Europe as aftermarket upgrades for the MT-07/MT-09. (**these are on order and not yet installed.)

These have one amber row of LEDs and one white row of LEDs.

I found a set of like new Rizoma Street Pegs with the proper Yamaha adapters already installed on eBay and bought 'em. I installed them today.

I also installed a genuine Yamaha aftermarket asv shorty brake lever. It comes with a silver adjustment dial vs the typical asv red dial:

Nice! I have a '13 which is the same as yours except with a red frame. I like your mods. Personally I hate the way the stock front turns look, but like the LED option you chose. At least it updates the look. I went with Motodynamic LED's to give it the flush mount look.

I debated over the turn signal options for a ridiculous amount of time.

At one point I actually bought a set of flush mount protons, but I cancelled before they were shipped. I really like the flush mount look, but I was worried about the reduction in visibility caused by the placement.

I went with the standard length Clutch lever and the shorty brake. A shorty clutch lever just didn't seem right to me.

I installed the Yamaha LED Plus front indicator / turn signal lights today. I also bought Motodynamic "Yamaha Turn Signal Adapters Spacers for Aftermarket Stalk Type Indicators Front or Rear" for $9.99 on eBay and I'm glad I did, they fit perfectly.

Here's a quick run-down on how I installed the elfr-p.

This is the stock flasher unit underneath the rear passenger seat. The OEM unit is still mounted, but I already have it disconnected.

Here is the area where the stock flasher unit resided, and where I'll mount the elfr-p.

Here's the stock flasher unit. It's attached to a rubber mount and the rubber mount attaches to the bike.

These 10mm nuts are conveniently located in the same compartment. I removed the one closest to the front of the bike and ran the ground under the plastic/rubber shielding to the stud.

Here's the ground terminal slipped over the stud.

Next, I used the supplied two sided tape to mount the elfr-p to the stock location. Note the white rectangle - that's the two sided take as I begin to peel the backing.

And finally, here is the unit mounted. The dial is easily accessible to change the blinker/ signal pattern (when the rear seat is removed).

I was very impressed with the way the elfr-p worked with my Motodynamic rear led tail in the sequential turn setting. My first video shows this:

[Final Impact]

I am interested in buying an Autotune next. The biggest thing holding me back on this is the required O2 sensor. I don't know where I'd place it on my TBR headers.

Buy an M18 bung and make a hole at the collector where all 4 pipes join and weld it in.

I added a bung to this header to add a wideband O2 data logger. Obviously the FZ6 has a lot more room for this than your R. Just be sure you can screw it in without having to drop the exhaust and the harness won't hit anything. All this while keeping the sensor on the upper half of the pipe so water/moisture doesn't kill your sensor.

Here's a stock photo of my header (I have a different muffler) which I've drawn in the O2 placement I was thinking of using:

Dynojet Actually advises customers with similar exhausts (short run between collector and muffler) to place the sensor further upstream to get a clean read, but at the sacrifice of only picking up one or two (of the four cylinders). This just doesn't seem right to me..

[Final Impact]

There is thruth in what they say as the velocity can be so low that air is drawn in and thats falsifies the o2 readings at low RPM's. And seeings how there is no fine tuning a batch fire injection per cylinder it may not be the worst thing to grab a single hole. That said the addition of the o2 sensor in the single pipe offers flow restriction the other three pipes don't have. To what extent this effects things, IDK....

I spoke with the previous owner of my bike today. Before he sold the bike to me he disconected a red led halo that surrounds my hid projector and forgot to tell me about it.

I hooked it up today and I like it. I wish it wasn't red but it's still a nice surprise:

Looks good, but is it legal in CA? Red and Blue are big no nos in most states. PA allows Red and Blue for motorcycles, but not for cars and they can't flash at all.

Hey Scott,

You're correct, red is illegal in Ca. The previous owner had the stock headlight retrofitted, but chose the red halo color for some reason - then disconnected it due to its illegality..

It was a bit of a thrill to discover that two unplugged ends I had previously noticed gave me this led halo, but I know I'll be drawing unneeded attention if I leave it on. Maybe I'll add a switch to it somehow..

But these koso Apollo heated grips are on their way to me now, so they go on first :

I was on a ride with my buddy a few weeks back, and he told me that my rear integrated turn signal was a bit confusing. Hearing this was like music to my ears, because it meant that I could do something else to the bike and actually have a reason to do it.

Well, I stumbled on some "Eagle Eye" LEDs on eBay, for an extremely cheap price.. So I bought a pair.

They took about two weeks to arrive and I finished installing them last night.

These things are ridiculously bright. It's unbelievable to me that something so small and cheap could be so bright.

I made one of my cheesiest videos yet to showcase them. I used the "disco" template in iMovie - it just seemed fitting. Check it out:

Video isn't working. I also have an integrated tail, but chose to keep my short stalk led signals that were part of my fender eliminator. In PA the integrated signals are illegal anyways, but some get away with havimg them alone. I like having both. In the front I added led strips in the air scoops since the signals I ha e aren't very visible from the front.

I'm pretty sure the integrated tails alone are illegal in Ca. too, due to the lack of yellow/amber reflector - which I still don't have

Motorcycles seem to get away with a lot in this state - the most obvious being modified exhaust. In Ca. any exhaust modification must be approved by CARB which includes meeting a extremely low dB level. Most modified exhausts don't meet the standards, but, a high percentage of motorcycles in the state have modified exhaust. TBR manufacturers exhaust systems in Ca., but many of their vendors won't sell to Ca. Residents.

"any motorcycle model that is dated 2013 or later or has an aftermarket exhaust system must have an official noise emission label from the Environmental Protection Agency placed on it before it can be lawfully operated or even parked in the state of California."

We can also thank CARB for the huge, heavy mufflers motorcycles are sold new with today. If they want to sell any of those shiny new bikes in Cali, they must meet the stringent dB requirements.
