Not I, she hasn't gathered up the courage yet to ride with me. I told her, I would not pressure her. I would feel terrible if I pressured her into it and she got hurt. Plus, 3 hours as a passenger on our bikes would be torture.
I'd totally dare Anthony to show up in purple torn up cutoff jean shorts and spray on green body paint....but don't want him turning into the Incredible Scab!
Indiana Forum member's group ride/meet n greet Saturday May 18th.
The original meeting point will be within a radius of Indianapolis.
So far, tentatively, the following members are planning to go:
#8 Leem00 (marked it on his calender but plans on ditching us)
Potential working itinerary:
9:00am (Meet & Eat) - Everyone meets & Sits down for breakfast (please note: all riders have topped off their tanks, prior to Meet & Eat)
10:00am (Kick Stands Up) -
As this thread advances, this first post is where all updates will be posted..
So is this all the people that are going from the forum? Can anyone firm up their commitment? Does anyone plan on bringing a non-forum rider with them? I'm asking because besides the route which I am working on a potential mock up for us to debate, I am also looking into us visiting a track allowing each of us 1 or 2 passes each, complete with video. We are getting close to where we need to firm up exactly how many riders we will have. The treat from Anthony is a potential paid track visit taking roughly 2 hours of our day but I need to know exactly how many riders we will have. I'm looking at a breakfast, a spirited ride in the country which would take a solid 2 hours, a quick visit to a track which I estimate at 2 hours, Then a ride back to a middle point, INDY? ,late lunch/split up. This is just what i'm proposing. we can beat it up & refine it but the rider count is important to know. I will be proposing a route in a couple-few days complete with city & country riding. Both tame & spirited. Location, West of Indy around Turkey Run. This would coincide with the potential track event which I will disclose when I know I can secure it. I plan on inviting a few riders I have ridden with in the past also.
PS: Does any forum member planning to go happen to use a Scala rider?
I will be there weather permitting. Also Turkey Run area is my home area. you may look into taking 235 through shades as this is a nice view and more corners as well in relation to 47 that passes by Turkey Run. It is the Same general area with less than a me separating the two in certain areas.
At this time I am unsure if I will have a passenger or not.
I've been in since day 1, and I should be coming alone. My uncles and cousins have cruisers, but I wouldn't invite a cruiser rider to the track out of principle lol.
Wich track? Not that i'm picky lol i'm just curious, sounds fun

Now this type of thing is right up my ally. To the Op, Am I able to get in on this? Looks like you have done a lot of work to put it all together & I know I am late to the party but if you would let me join you guys I have some extra mirror blocks and left over fender tape from my last track visit that I could contribute. If you are still doing the track thing and are filled up already I could pay to join the day. Just let know what you need & I would do it. I am off Saturdays and think it would be cool to join other riders with the same type of bike.
